Author and actress Giulia Becker worked in the Neo Magazin Royale writers‘ room for five years, regularly appearing on camera as a member of the ensemble. In 2019, she won the lit.Cologne debut prize for her novel “Das Leben ist eins der Härtesten” published by Rowohlt. She freelances for Pyjama Pictures, Bildundtonfabrik, BBC Germany, and Unterhaltungsfernsehen Ehrenfeld, among others. She currently appears regularly on the Carolin Kebekus Show. In 2020, she and Chris Sommer launched DRINNIES - den Comedy-Podcast aus der Komfortzone. In 2021 they won the German Podcast Award in the “Best Talk Team” category and in 2022, they won the Podcast Award for “Best Independent Podcast” and “Best Talk Team”.
Her second book “Wenn ich nicht Urlaub mache, macht es jemand anderes” was published in November 2024.
