Millennials have screwed it up. Too broke to own property, too uncool for TikTok careers, all that’s left is therapy, matcha lattes, and cringing at themselves on a daily basis. And because shared cringe is double cringe, Marlena Schönfeld has turned it into an entire show.

In “Millennial Cringe”, she talks about people-pleasing, pop culture, the embarrassing realities of life over 30, and the daily struggle of trying to be politically correct, mentally stable, and hot at the same time (spoiler: it’s going… okay).

Marlena Schönfeld is a stand-up comedian known from various German comedy formats, including NightWash, Chaos Comedy Club, WDR’s Ladies Night, and her own nationwide live show format TITS&BITS. With sharp wit and a keen eye for nuance, she explores personal and social issues with intelligence, thoughtfulness and perfectly timed punchlines.
